This two-story, 70,000 square-foot facility is intended to be both a cooperate headquarters to handle the day to day operations for the company, as well as allow the intricate process of restoring damaged property to be displayed in full view of perspective clients. The client wanted this facility to function as a corporate headquarters and restoration warehouse along with being a marketing tool to be used to display the complex process of restoring damaged personal goods to their original state. The building consists of a 20,000 square-foot, two-story office building along with an approximately 50,000 square-foot restoration operations & storage warehouse. Along the main hall where the office building and operations facility meet are windows looking into the climate controlled restoration processing department where the state of the art equipment and dedicated staff can be displayed restoring damaged goods in real time. The main design challenge was to allow this restoration process to be displayed while also organizing the production spaces in a floor plan layout that still provided an efficient assembly line for goods to “flow” through the process.
